Celebrating 80 Years of Community Through Our 80th Anniversary CAMPaign
For generations, Camp By The Sea has been a place where children build confidence, develop lifelong friendships, discover new talents, and create memories that last a lifetime.
At the Katz JCC, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to experience the magic of camp, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances.
Each year, the Katz JCC provides significant financial assistance to families in need. Families requesting assistance complete a comprehensive application process, including financial documentation and personal narratives, which are carefully reviewed by our Financial Assistance Committee. Through this process, we strive to ensure that scholarship funds are distributed fairly and responsibly to those who need them most.
While the Katz JCC commits substantial resources each year to make camp accessible, the demand for assistance continues to grow. Once available scholarship funds have been exhausted, we are often unable to support additional families seeking camp opportunities for their children.
Providing financial assistance remains one of our highest priorities, but we cannot do it alone.
Join Our 80th Anniversary CAMPaign
As we celebrate the Katz JCC’s 80th Anniversary, we invite our community to help us reach an ambitious goal:
- $4,000 – Sends 1 child to camp for 8 weeks
- $2,500 – Sends 1 child to camp for 4 weeks
- $1,000 – Sends 1 child to camp for 1 week
- $360 – Helps bridge the gap for a child who otherwise could not attend camp
- $180 – Helps provide financial assistance to a child in need
Contributions of all sizes are valued and appreciated.
Every gift helps provide children with a summer of friendship, growth, adventure, and belonging.
Every contribution helps make Camp By The Sea accessible to children and families who otherwise may not have the opportunity to attend.
An Investment in the Future
The 80th Anniversary CAMPaign is about more than one summer. Funds raised will support financial assistance for as many as 80 campers in 2027 and beyond, helping ensure that future generations of children can experience the life-changing benefits of camp.
