Thank you for your interest in 2026 summer employment at Camp By The Sea! Our day camp offers quality programming for children ages 2 to 13.
We are currently accepting applications for Junior Counselor positions for those who will be entering grades 9th, 10th, and 11th grade in Fall of 2026. For the Head Counselor position for those who will be entering 12th grade in Fall 2026. Division Heads and Specialist Camp positions: we are accepting applications from college students, certified teachers, and all other adults with degrees or experience in education.
There will be three days of mandatory staff orientation the week preceding the start of camp.

- Camp Nurse/EMT
- Lifeguards and Swim Instructors
Please return the application to the JCC and send the two reference forms to people you feel can provide an objective opinion of yourself. Your two references should not be from relatives or friends; instead, they should be from a teacher, supervisor or someone you currently work with or have worked with in the past.
After we receive your application and both references, you may be contacted to set up an interview. We encourage you to browse our website, campbythesea.org, prior to the interview.
